For over 20 years, Engø Gård has been known for food and wine in good harmony. We are constantly developing in the search for an even better guest experience, and the surroundings, service, food and drink must be of top quality.

As asst. As F&B Manager, you will help safeguard and continue our good reputation together with the rest of the Engø team. It will be important that the guests' expectations of the experience at Engø Gård are met with a focus on quality and service. At Engø, we are concerned that all meals must maintain a high standard, both breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner must be of the highest quality.

We prepare food according to season and availability, and take pride in the food and drink being locally produced, and collaborate a lot with local farmers/producers & winemakers.

The position can be taken up as soon as possible.


The position has started as soon as possible.


  • Responsible for the guest experience at Engø Gård

  • Planning and development of employees together with the F&B Manager

  • Lead the day-to-day operations in all our F&B outlets together with Head Chefs and F&B Managers

  • Helpful with purchasing, inventory

  • Shift work


Characteristics and qualifications:

  • Documented management experience from a restaurant and good knowledge of the subject 

  • Service oriented with the ability to create good guest experiences

  • Flexible and hardworking

  • Positive and quality conscious

  • Professionally skilled and dedicated, with an eye for detail 

  • A skilled leader and motivator 

  • Experience with financial management, analysis of results and correction of profitability via time management, purchasing and cost control. 

  • Good communication skills, both in Norwegian and English

  • Sommelier training is a big advantage

  • Passionate about guest experiences and the ability to combine a high level of service and creativity with good financial management.
